Hey, thank you for your help, I purchased the DHP-1320, and we've had it for a few weeks, and it's been really good. We have however been having frequent dropouts with our main router, apparently a DNS issue. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks again! :)
Powerline really is simple to set up. I am very much non technical but I had my powerline adapters out of the box and working within minutes. It is really just plug and play. You can make a secure network by pushing the encryption buttons but I have never bothered to do so as no one else has access to my house wiring. All major makers adhere to the same protocols. One point - it is recommended to plug the adapters straight into the wall socket and not into a power strip, especially if the latter is fitted with anti surge. If you have few available sockets, most manufacturers have models that are plug-through although these are more expensive. Power.line has helped with with a wifi cold spot in the basement of an old sandstone house. With powerline I now get a reliable broadband connection.
This is great for those who are having problems with their wireless routers. I have a PS3 but I can't set up wireless connection, so this will solve my problem.
Thanks a lot, does the Powerline Router (DHP-1320) AP mode (I'm guessing that stands for access point?) makes it functionally similar to the w306AV? as in, does it just create a wireless access point that you can connect to while at the same time also allowing another router to be used? Thanks for clip. I've had the DHP-307AV for a year now. A week ago, I changed the location of the remote adapter (w306av).I did as if I was first setting up but still not working. The lan was working after being hooked up to my PC and then the wifi worked, but next morning nothing. The wifi is flashing every second (constantly as if in standby mode) and the access point (SSID) shows on my ipad but there's no internet transmission going on. What should I do? I am furstated please. Mike

Hello! I have it set up correctly, and it worked well for a time, but now it doesn't work any more? All indicators are green, but it says "limited connection" on my desktop computer.

Video fails to mention you can't use surge protectors. Even then, I'm still getting nothing on the home indicator. Maybe include instructions with your next product
@iwubudub it has to be plugged into the mains. Not an extension.

Hey so i setup 1 of the boosters on the route nd hooked it up nd i put the other in my room for my ps3 but that button that has 3 dots nd a line on it doest flash for the d-link in my room it only shows green for the power button nd home button... do you have any ideas how to fix this?
@DLinkTV when i connect an adapter to my router the 3 lights are burning but when I connect the other adapter to my ps3 only the first light is green,the second is yellow and the right light doesn't burn. can you please help me thank you ; )
